Alexander McQueen (17 March 1969 – 11 February 2010)
was the biggest & brightest designer and couturier of the modern age. He actually
defines the modernity by going a step further taking with him the entire fashion
world with his genius.
He is known for having worked as chief designer at
Givenchy from 1996 to 2001 and for founding his own Alexander McQueen label.
His achievements in fashion are monumental and the fashion world experiences a
huge gap with his death.
Alexander McQueen was a category on his own and never
ceased to re-create & reestablish his vision, being against only to his own
talent, leaving the rest of the world far behind.
A legend, a myth, a mega artist who now in my
estimation is in the pantheon of heaven together with very few souls like
Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, & Mozart.
His talent will be greatly missed but his designs
shall remain forever as a torch of light for the entire world to see the unlimited
nature of his pure talent.
